The very beginning of pregnancy doesn’t usually look like much from the outside, but what’s happening in your partner’s body is wild. While our initiation into fatherhood takes time and happens on the level of identity, your partner has been thrust into physiological and hormonal overdrive.
The experience of the first part of pregnancy is different for all women, and often varies from pregnancy to pregnancy as well. My wife had some consistent early symptoms for all of her pregnancies, but each pregnancy was very distinct.
Here are some things that start changing in month 1 for your pregnant partner:
